Welcome to LoanMate. By downloading, installing, or using LoanMate ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue using the App.

Purpose of the App

LoanMate is a personal and business loan management application designed to help users:

• Track money borrowed or lent.
• Record repayments and refunds.
• Calculate loan balances and interest.
• Create invoices and payment statements.
• Receive repayment reminders.

LoanMate does not provide loans, financial advice, legal advice, debt collection services, or credit scoring.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.
• You are responsible for securing access to your device and account.
• You agree not to use LoanMate for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
• You are responsible for complying with local financial and privacy laws.

User Accounts

Some features require signing in with an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activity performed under your account.

Subscriptions

LoanMate offers optional premium features through paid subscriptions.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before renewal.
• Billing is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store.
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store.

Intellectual Property

LoanMate, its branding, design, source code, logos, graphics, documentation, and original content are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute any part of the application without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

LoanMate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted service, data accuracy, financial outcomes, or suitability for a particular purpose.

We are not liable for:

• Financial losses.
• Missed repayments.
• Incorrect loan records entered by users.
• Loss of data caused by user actions or device failure.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Third-Party Services

LoanMate may integrate with trusted third-party services including:

• Google Firebase
• Google Play Billing
• Apple App Store
• Cloud storage providers
• Analytics and crash reporting services

These services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to LoanMate if we believe these Terms have been violated or if required by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of LoanMate after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws.
